Yesterday, Wednesday 18th March, saw the launch of McDonald’s Golden Chances Monopoly!
Now in its tenth year, the promotion will be bigger and better than ever, giving customers the chance to win millions of prizes by purchasing products from McDonald’s over the six-week period.
OMD UK is proud to be supporting the promotion for the tenth year, with a huge multi-media push to drive customers in-store to join the fun, and be in with a chance of winning fantastic prizes.
This is the biggest promotion in the McDonald’s calendar, with a huge weight of support behind it. A large scale TV campaign started over the weekend to drive excitement going into launch, and heavy TV, outdoor and press kicked off yesterday. There is also a huge push in digital and social, driving awareness of the game and encouraging people to play online – as 17.3 million people did in 2014.
At the campaign’s mid-point, we’ll begin to share claimed prizes data, so people can see just how many amazing prizes are being won in their area. By localising the information, we’ll really be able to drive people’s belief that they could win too.
